General Manager of the Hsing Yun Education Foundation

Venerable Juefang is the General Manager of the Hsing Yun Education Foundation and a resident monastic at Nan Tien Temple in Australia.


Born in Taiwan, she was ordained as a nun in the Fo Guang Shan monastic order at the age of 20. With a strong passion for education and a desire to make a difference in the world, she pursued a master's degree in Education at the University of Massachusetts and a PhD in Educational Leadership at the University of Sydney.


Her education and monastic training have shaped her unique perspective on leadership and social change, which she has applied to her work as the General Manager of the Hsing Yun Education Foundation. Under her leadership, the foundation has provided educational programs and resources to promote Chinese culture and values, interfaith understanding, and social harmony.


Venerable Juefang's commitment to education and social justice extends beyond her role at the Hsing Yun Education Foundation. She has served on the board of directors for the International Buddhist College in Thailand and has been involved in a number of charitable organizations that provide aid to underprivileged communities.


As a respected monastic and leader, Venerable Juefang has also given talks and teachings on Buddhism and mindfulness, emphasizing the importance of compassion, wisdom, and ethical conduct in daily life. Her approach to leadership and spirituality has inspired many, and she continues to be a role model for those seeking to make a positive impact in the world.
